Jobs 4 California Graduates’ (J4CG) Specialist, Erika Gonzales-Morris, of Learn4Life’s Assurance Learning Academy located in Lancaster, invited J4CG students to attend the HOPE Program’s Halloween Boo-Through event to show their support.
Learn4Life’s HOPE (Helping Our Parenting-students Excel) Program provides mentorship, support and access to community resources (i.e., free diapers, formula, etc.) to high school students who are teen parents. Student teen parents take advantage of a classroom designed for study in a child-friendly space. They study alongside their children and learn life skills, child development, health, food and nutrition and financial planning-all while working toward a high school diploma, explains program director, Staci Roth.
J4CG is a proud advocate of HOPE and other programs that support education and empowerment of students and families.
